Today design class... got assignment again =.=... this assignment consists 30%... quite important. It is about designing a logo for your own company this time. Well... quite a big headache to me again. Some of you might wondering 'Hey! Just design a logo for your own company ma!' haha, but in the world of design and advertising, logo is super duper important and it's a very difficult task to do. Argh, its hard to explain to some of you that are not involved in the designing world or advertising world la lol XD.
Have lots of questions in my mind now... number 1, what should I name my own company?? Use my own name or create another name or create a name using adjectives/animal names? Since I heard that Martin and Louis said that they are going to open their own design company, well... I shall follow the same route as them too XD. Its like 2 birds in 1 stone if I choose to open my own design company since in future I can also use the same reference I did when I was in my college too haha, therefore I decided to choose design company too. The main problem now is what should I name my own design company?? Arghhh...
After choosing a name for my own design company, next is design the logo... what style I should use for my logo this question keeps bugging me too... but back to step one, I dont even had a idea of naming my own company yet XD.

OMG... looks like I cant really finish my papercaft model that soon already T.T. Haiz, last week was just the due date of abstract designs assignment and as soon as passing up this assignment last week, this week (today) pops out another design assignment again! Why cant teacher allow me to breathe for a while just for a week lol XD... man, I think this logo assignment should given to us next week la... let us rest a week also cannot meh lol. Duh, now Im breathless again.
Today booked the photo studio for the photo studio portrait assignment. Wow it seems like my friend found a model for it and I dont have to be the model for the photo shoot. Lucky me XD. If I become the model for the photo shoot, the more breathless I become >.<.
Lol nowadays I often laugh so easily and so much. No matter how lame the joke is, or no matter how cheap the joke is, I just cant stand it but laugh although that joke wasnt really that hilarious. Maybe because I seldom smile or laugh all the time so thats why I laughed so easily XD. Martin and Louis often laughed at me when they saw me laughed over a small matter, and seeing them laughing at me, I couldnt stand it but laughed even harder seeing their funny faces seeing me laughing over small matters, LOL za dou XD.
Tomorrow 9am got class again, photography class. Means I can only spend little time doing my papercraft model today =.=. Spent the whole night and afternoon today doing research for logo designs... but up until now, still cant come up with any ideas >.<. Cant design the logo simply just because you like it and do whatever you want... because every week, I gotta stand in front of the class and explaining why I design this logo like this and why I use blablabla color for this logo design starting next week onwards I think... Wargh ideas! Faster come to me T.T!

Cecil Dark Knight Papercraft Project
Alright! Just in case some of you are wondering what papercraft Im doing now, it's a Final Fantasy papercraft again XD... this time, it's Cecil the Dark Knight from Final Fantasy IV of the Final Fantasy Dissidia version.
Yup, this is Cecil the Dark Knight from Final Fantasy IV Dissidia version. Well, Dissidia is a Final Fantasy action fighting game that involves all protagonists and antagonists from Final Fantasy I - Final Fantasy X for the PSP platform (thats why I wanna buy a PSP for this very much!!! X( ... but too bad now that my college is forcing me to change my target to buy a DSLR instead...).

The reason I decided to build it is because I have played the game (Final Fantasy IV) before, or in fact, I have played all Final Fantasy games from I - VIII... didnt get the chance to play Final Fantasy IX and Final Fantasy X haiz. I played Final Fantasy IV before even in it's GBA version when I was in secondary school around form 4 I think lol XD.
Now that they had released a remake of this classic Final Fantasy game for Nintendo DS platform last year, this greatly enhances the popularity of the game being top 10 most popular Nintendo DS games during the year 2008... and yeah, I was busy playing this game last year despite having STPM XP. By the way, the poster above says something like :"The story of love, friendship and destiny". And the white guy is the protagonist of Final Fantasy IV, Cecil... after he turned from a Dark Knight to Paladin.

Besides that, Cecil is one of the romantic guy so thats why I like him too XD, although he's not quite in my favorite list of romantic guys... but well, he's still one of the romantic guys, so... yeah XD. Speaking of romantic guys, my favorite one is Squall Leonhart from Final Fantasy VIII especially! Because he's kinda looks like me man! Because Squall is an anti-social guy... dont know how to express his feelings although he loved Rinoa so much... so all the time he just keep this feeling to himself and only show it out during emergency... and WOW he's SO MAN when he rescues Rinoa so many times ahhh. My 2nd favorite is Tidus from Final Fantasy X! Although Tidus is cheerful, outgoing and naughty, but he sure know how to do 'his stuff' when the time is right comforting Yuna and be her bodyguard >.<. Well about Cloud Strife from Final Fantasy VII... I dont think he's romantic lor =.=... keep emo-ing and dont even show love feelings before lolz.
Anyway, Cecil is a dark character in the game. At first, he's a Dark Knight being a puppet used by the king to destroy and conquer other kingdoms and lands for crystals. Being shameful and regretful what he did, later he turns into a Paladin in the game in order to be some kind of 'save the world' thingy again lol. But even after Cecil became a Paladin, he's still haunted by his past when being a Dark Knight. So... he's also kinda emo in the game too as well XD.
Here's my progress of building this papercraft yesterday and this afternoon:
Almost finished his legs... now building his 2nd leg. Haha my table is in a mess because of this XD.
Finished 4/14 pages now in 2 days... or in exact time of finished 4 out of 14 pages of this papercraft, it's about 7 hours++. 10 more pages to go.
Duh my table is in a mess. Lets take them to a much more cleaner environment -- my bed for clearer look of this model XD. The height of the leg is 23cm (left in the pic above). Quite a big model... well not bad for paying RM10 printing the whole model lol. Since the leg is already standing at 23cm... I think the whole thing would be around 50cm after finished haha...
The thorns back of this leg are kinda difficult and bored to me to build them >.< actually... by the way, it looks cool to have thorns being built in this dark armor lol... but to think of it, why would people wanna build thorns in leg armors =.=? For the sake of stabbing people in war with the back part of your leg? Haha.
Side view and yeah... thats all.

Series of Sketches 4
Here's my sketches for this week as usual... Tuesday is the day for my sketches update lolz XD.
Previously mentioned that my teacher just taught us how to sketch human faces... and I think when it comes to art project that involves examination marks for this subject, I think it's probably be sketching human faces and figures... so thats why this week I focus on practicing sketching human faces lol... besides that, sketching human faces are hard to master so a lot of practice is needed =.=.
My 1st sketch of this week:
When Martin and Louis saw this, they asked :"Wow who is this??" and my expression goes =.=... Lol, seriously, she is so famous!! How can they dont know who is this person (perhaps my sketch is bad until they couldnt recognize this person?) lol!
Ok guys, guess who is this? XD
She's Xiao Yu from the most romantic beautiful movie 'Secret' by Jay Chou lol!
A closer look (man, I love this sketch so much!):
After Louis and Martin heard my answer, they said to me that they didnt watch this movie 'Secret' before lol... =.=

Some random girl actor I saw in chinese entertainment newspaper... I dunno who is she >.<. Well, I kinda screwed up in this sketch.

Lol, obviously screwed up this sketch too XD. I blame my papercraft for it... that time, I just want to finish my sketches as fast as possible just to build my papercraft so thats why this sketch turns out badly =.=... fortunately, teacher said that it's ok XD... just need to add more details lol.

When Martin and Louis saw this, they say :"Wah OMG it's Hebe!" lol! Well... actually she's Yuna from Final Fantasy X (a game character). After that, they said :"But she really looks like Hebe lor!" and said that they are not a big fan of Final Fantasy so thats why they dunno lol, but mentioned that they seen her before.
By the way, I used camera to upload my sketches so it's quite difficult for me to adjust the right camera angle for taking pics of my sketches... if the camera angle went wrong when taking pics of my sketches, my sketches will look a bit distorted in the picture as well >.<.

Well, since Im rushing and looking forward to build my papercraft model, I cant really say that I put much effort to sketch this time so... this week's sketches arent really that great too >.<. Haha.
